Who We Are James Allen Insurance Brokers is both a national program administrator and a national managing general underwriter/agent licensed to do business in 49 states. Our company was originally formed as a retail agency of less than $75,000 in premium volume and quickly evolved into one of the leading farm insurance and product development firms in the United States. Our group of companies wrote in excess of $85 million in 2009 and will underwrite over $500 million by the end of 2014. We have over 175 years of farm underwriting knowledge. The foundation of our company has been built on farm business and remains our focus. In addition, our company underwrites 30% more profit than the top 50 farm writers in the U.S. Due to this fact, our company has been successful in obtaining the complete underwriting pen for all insurance companies for which we hold contracts and underwriting authorities. What We Do James Allen Insurance Brokers underwrites various insurance programs for domestic admitted insurers and on behalf of certain underwriters at Lloyd’s. Our primary focus is to offer Farm & Ranch products to the top Agricultural Agents in the U.S. In addition to our underwriting services, our company creates, develops and writes insurance programs and policies for areas of coverage that are non existent in the marketplace or of a highly niche nature. We were the first to create and underwrite an Avian Flu program, a Pandemic Insurance program and Product Withdrawal for the Grower Farmer. |
